I met Kristina a few weeks before giving birth purely by chance, and we exchanged numbers. At that time, I never imagined I would need a specialist — everyone around me kept saying that breastfeeding was natural and easy, that once the baby arrived, it would just come to me. I had watched a few YouTube videos and thought I understood the process. Still, many women I knew admitted they couldn’t breastfeed their babies for different reasons, and it made me wonder if it might not be as simple as everyone said.
When my baby was born, all the information I had seemed to disappear. The baby was in front of me, and I didn’t know what to do. I made every mistake possible, and things slowly started going wrong. I tried my best, and the people around me were supportive, telling me: “That’s how it is, it’s always painful, you just need to push through, you’ll get used to it.” I believed I was doing it right, that the process itself was just hard. But eventually, the pain became unbearable: my nipples were rubbed raw and bleeding, and I developed breast inflammation. I thought this would turn into another unsuccessful story — another case of mastitis I wasn’t prepared for.
Finally, I contacted Kristina and told her everything that was happening. She said it didn’t have to be this way, that breastfeeding is not supposed to be a painful and miserable experience. We met, and she showed me the correct latching techniques, how to manage the process, and how to make sure the baby was eating and satisfied. She explained everything so clearly, and I was able to ask all my questions — she gave me a confident, professional answer to each one.
Kristina is a true professional. She does this not only for her work but also out of genuine love for people, mothers, and newborns. She is an amazing person who truly wants to help. I feel so blessed to have met her and to have received her incredible support.
Thank you so much, Kristina. You are forever in our hearts.
